UseNorth ("we", "us", "our") operates the NORTH readiness platform — a suite of diagnostic instruments (SIGNAL, NORTH Strategic, NORTH Build) that help individuals and leadership teams understand their AI readiness posture. The platform generates credentials, coalition maps, tension maps, and strategist briefs based on participant responses.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of your organisation (where applicable) to use NORTH. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Individual tier: Personal use only. One credential per person. Credentials are non-transferable.
Team tier: Licensed per seat. The purchaser may invite participants up to the seat limit. Unused seats do not roll over.
Partner tier: Governed by a separate Partner Agreement executed at onboarding. API keys, webhooks, and white-label access are provided under that agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Session codes are shared links. Anyone with the code can participate in or view session outputs. Treat session codes as you would a meeting invitation link.

Team tier purchases are processed via PayFast in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Refund policy: Full refund within 14 days of purchase if no diagnostic has been started. No refund once any participant has begun the Strategic or Build diagnostic. Pro-rata refunds for unused seats may be granted at our discretion.
NORTH, the diagnostic instruments, scoring algorithms, and platform code are our intellectual property. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the platform for its intended purpose.
Your data: You retain ownership of your diagnostic responses. We retain ownership of the generated outputs (credentials, maps, briefs) insofar as they incorporate our proprietary scoring and synthesis models. You may use outputs internally within your organisation. Public distribution requires attribution.
NORTH is a diagnostic instrument, not a substitute for professional advice. The outputs reflect patterns in participant responses. They do not predict outcomes, guarantee success, or replace human judgement.
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of NORTH shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or pose a security risk. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing info@usenorth.xyz. Upon termination, your diagnostic data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Town.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and posted here 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
